last night was nothing short of amazing! ryan's art opening turned out so, so well! there was a crowd in the gallery for over 4 hours and nearly everyone was actually reading all the pieces! ryan even sold enough of his show's catalogs and pdxposed books to break a little bit more than even. thank you so much to those who came, it was great to see ( Read more... )

i had a great weekend and a pretty decent monday.

saturday morning, john, danny (the newer housemate) and i met up with ryan at vita cafe and chatted for a while... mostly about how, later that night, ryan had to go see a christian rapper for a story for the paper..

saturday, john and i did see the weather man when he got home from work. it was really good. partly because i was expecting some sort of cheesy comedy movie and it wasn't and partly because it was very moving. it's dark and dramatic, i recommend it.
